What you would usually do:

• You whip out your mobile device, manipulating the menu screens in order to catch the Pokemon as fast as possible while continuing to walk

• People around you, also on their mobile devices crash into you and other people

• You might even walk into a wall, or trip and fall

• If you’re in the midst of crossing a road, the same things that happen in Scenario 1 might also occur

• End result – the Pokemon gets away

 

What you should do:

• Look around for a spot to pause at which is not too far from the Pokemon

• Note: Do not stop and stand still in the middle of the path, as this will obstruct other pedestrians – and you should definitely not stop in the middle of a busy crosswalk.

• Whip out your mobile device, manipulating the menu screens in order to catch the Pokemon as fast as possible

• Catch the Pokemon!

• Finally, continue on your journey to catch them all
